Solent Hotel Wedding Show

Good Arvo…

We are having a busy day here at the Solent Hotel & Spa, lots of exhibitors and exciting products on offer.

Such a lovely venue and always a good one for us – come say hi…!

Wedding photography at The Solent Hotel, Whiteley – Mark & Teresa

Teresa is a hair stylist so met up in the morning at her hair salon ‘Lisa Edwards’ in Fareham to watch (& shoot!) a hair creation taking place!  She felt obliged to make her hair a feature and certainly accepted the challenge.  The rest of the wedding was held at The Solent Hotel in Whiteley so I knew we were in good hands.  We had already photographed Mark & Teresa on their engagement shoot a few weeks previously (for their Signing Board) and used the same secret location on their Wedding Day as it was perfect for some relaxed photographs of them.  Another hot and sunny day so no complaints from me- loved it…

September is here!!!

Well hello again, we now find ourselves in September!!  Wedding season does makes the weeks fly by!!  Thought I’d pen a little update as to what we’ve been upto… Well, it’s been the usual mix of shooting weddings, sorting Collections and creating album layouts- so nothing new there!!  But as always after the schools summer hols rush of weddings we have a great stack of work to blitz through as well as all the usual stuff us pro-photogs have to do behind the scenes.  We also have a couple of new products available so will need to update our Product Guide and send that out also.  It’s a sunny day, I’m feeling positive and in the words of Big Joe from ‘Reservoir Dogs’…  “let’s go to work…”

Wedding photography at Portsmouth Cathedral and Royal Marines Museum, Portsmouth – Mark & Natasha

A windy day in Southsea shooting Mark & Natasha’s wedding.  The usual running around in the morning shooting the boys and girls in their different locations and then a rest whilst they hide away inside Portsmouth Cathedral- us photographers are always evicted during the ceremony!  But had a great time wandering around Old Portsmouth shooting the pair of them before heading along to the Royal Marines Museum to catch up with the rest of the wedding.  Party time!!  Great day…tired now 🙂
