Photographer on tour – Tracy Park by Chris Such Images

Tracy Park is a stunning 16th century manor house close to Bath and Bristol and set in 240 acres of rolling landscape.  It makes for one of the most gorgeous venues I’ve had the pleasure of shooting at and I’m looking forward to shooting a wedding there sometime in the near future- it is simply stunning!

So how have I found myself spending the past couple of days down at Tracy Park?  Well, we were asked to spend a couple of days there to shoot a complete corporate portfolio for their new brochure and web applications.  A complete portfolio!  A stunning 16th century manor house set in 240 acres of rolling English countryside, complete with two golf courses, fine dining resturant, lounges, conference rooms, luxury bedrooms and suites, part Jacobean, part Georgian, is not a task one undertakes thinking a few hours should suffice!  So, two days were set aside from our busy schedule to undertake this project for them.

I was shooting this gig single-handedly, so it was wonderful to be working very closely with the team assembled for this project.  I won’t bore you with the finer details of what the portfolio requirements were or what and how we shot the entire project- all I need to say here is the weather gods were on our side, our team worked their ar*ses off to pull this off, and we were all relieved we nailed it within the timeframe we had set aside.  It is a truly awesome and beautiful venue, the team are wonderful and I look forward to going back down there soon.

Huge thanks must go to our Creative Director Mitchell and the amazing team at Tracy Park- Jason the General Manager, Susan the Food & Banqueting Manager, Head Chef Scott and everyone else who helped us.  We would not have been able to pull this off without all your help…. Cheers guys 🙂

Photographing paintings for exhibition, West Sussex – Ravenskin

Good friends of mine Jake and Michelle of Ravenskin Tattoo, Selsey fame, hold an Art Expo each year in their local village of Selsey where they exhibit their works of art (paintings & drawings) which they paint in their spare time.  It’s great to see how their styles have progressed over the years as each year they ask me to photograph the originals so we can produce limited edition print runs to sell alongside the amazing originals.  This year their expo is held on the Bank Holiday weekend of 29/30th August at the Selsey Town Hall, so if your local and dig their style, then pop in and see if you’re tempted.  Here’s the gallery link to this years collection click here  🙂

Corporate food photography, Chichester, West Sussex – More Food

A single image required with a simple brief to fit existing packaging and to blend with the company’s Waitrose brand imaging.  Obviously I gave a few different options to choose from and they picked one which fitted their brief perfectly.  Look out for it on the shelves of Waitrose- it’s tastes REALLY lovely!!  I’m enjoying my generous stash with plenty of cups of tea.  The benefits of corporate food photography 🙂
